Journalist and analyst Ben Andoni, regarding the current election campaign in Albania, expressed on News24 that there is apathy in front of the public, a lukewarm campaign with the same people. While new and small parties failed to create a third pole.
"The campaign has a general apathy of the public. It started earlier this time. Berisha has presented real points of the program, while Rama has tried to smother it, thinking about 2030, for the fifth mandate.
The campaign is lukewarm, people are tired and listening to the same people. Mr. Rama has overdone it with his rhetoric. He should have been more elegant and aesthetic, since he has been in power for 12 years. It may seem attractive to militants, but in reality it is not appropriate. He should have spared the public the rhetoric, remembering that we are one of the poorest countries in Europe. He should have made a "mea-culpa" for all the problems.
While the DP has some right causes. But they do not explain how they will make Albania Great. You cannot do this for one mandate. They must make a real Albania first. If you do not induce a new workforce, an active workforce, you cannot develop.
While the new parties are trying to bring something. The small parties are identifying themselves with a few names. They failed to unite to bring a third pole. The biggest property problem in the country, the DP and the SP should unite for this.
"The opposition will recover something in the last two weeks, but I don't know if it will be enough. Justice has nothing to do with it, that is, it has no influence, because even if there are denunciations, they are for individuals. SPAK has no opportunity to play the role of justice in the elections" - Andoni expressed, among other things.
