The protest in Tirana has escalated. The "Martyrs of the Nation" Boulevard has turned into a "war scene". Tear gas has been massively thrown at the protesters.
Journalist Osman Stafa told "News24" that over 10-15 police cars have formed a motorcade, but most of them are unidentified.
Also, civilians without any means of identification have been deployed en masse and are stopping protesters in Tirana.
