In the Western Australian desert, scientists have discovered a structure hidden deep beneath the surface that points to an ancient cosmic collision. The area known as Ora Banda has been found to contain traces of a crater created by an iron-rich meteorite that once struck Earth with great force.

According to geologists, the impact was so powerful that it melted rocks, deformed crystals, and lifted fragments that also contained gold into the air, leaving behind rare geological structures.

Scientists have identified molten glass and special minerals typically associated with meteorite impacts in the area, making it one of the rarest discoveries of its kind. The crater was not observed on the surface, but was discovered through gravity measurements, which revealed a circular anomaly hidden beneath deep desert layers for millions of years.

Experts say this discovery suggests that many more traces of Earth's early history may still be hidden beneath the surface, waiting to be discovered.
