Ilirian Feçi testified this Tuesday at the Special Court on the details of the violent robbery of Lirak Bajraktari, an event that occurred in February 2011 in Elbasan.
Journalist Klodiana Lala reports that according to his testimony, the robbery was committed by him together with Talo Çela and Dashnor Dumani, while she has ruled out the involvement of Gentian Sharra.
"There were three of us, Talo Çela, Dashnor Dumani and me. Talo had the car. We were caught on camera in a bank and a private house. Neither Talo nor I were armed, while Dashnor only had a crowbar," Feçi declared.
He also recounted the dynamics of the event, indicating that during the robbery they took a bag of jewelry and gold, while the entire event was recorded by cameras.
"I left my house, picked up Dashnor in Nish-Tulla and then we went to Elbasan, where we picked up Talon. We went to Lirak Bajraktari's house and stole a bag of jewelry and gold. The whole incident is visible on the home cameras," he said.
Feçi said that he had obtained information about Bajraktar's movements through a personal connection, as his ex-fiancée from Belshi had often sold jewelry to the victim.
He added that after the robbery, the perpetrators fled to Talo Çela's apartment and then sold the stolen items in Tirana, dividing the profits into three parts.
In his testimony, Feçi also mentioned his acquaintance with Nuredin Dumani, whom he said he knew about his apartment and that in the past he had been involved in illegal activities in the Krujë area.
