Culture as a public investment, infrastructure of our national identity, which produces economic value, part of the European integration process, with modern institutions. Minister of Culture Blendi Gonxhja presented this Wednesday, the national strategy of Culture until 2030. The draft, drafted by an Italian agency after a consultation with experts, artists and local organizations, according to the minister, aims for a different approach.

"Our specific programs are expected to extend to three main levels: At the institutional and professional level, because the Strategy foresees intensive work to promote self-financing and guarantee the strengthening of cultural institutions through new management plans and integrated ticket management systems, while simultaneously responding to a historic request from the independent scene such as the Status of the Artist and the functionalization of Artistic Councils," he said.
He mentioned that it extends to the territorial level and local cooperation, to structure the extension of policies in every municipality in the country as well as at the level of development and modernization, as this vision is fulfilled through the pillars of the complete digitization of our archives, direct support for artisans, and the extension of educational and artistic programs at every level.
Gonxha requested that the public and interest groups consult on the draft, to provide their comments, not just as an information process.

Mentioning public funding and public-private partnerships, Gonxha insists on culture as an instrument against depopulation, as according to him, for young people to stay in their cities and villages, there must be cultural life.

The Minister said that the strategy comes to life beyond a document only when it is transformed into concrete actions that impact everyday life, when it turns into continuous cooperation between institutions and the creative community, between politics and society, and when it creates relationships that produce dialogue, projects and value for citizens.
