Police authorities have arrested a 40-year-old Albanian who escaped from Trikala prison in 2018, failing to return from a leave he had been granted.
According to information from trikala voice.gr, the 40-year-old, who was serving a prison sentence for robbery, attempted murder, participation in a criminal organization, etc., was spotted at the Trikala bus station while fleeing on a bus. He was searched by men from the DIAS team and after he came out, the person who had not returned to prison after a permit was granted was arrested.
