Shocking is the new case of domestic violence that became known in Chania, where a 74-year-old priest is accused of abusing his wife and children.
According to zarpanews.gr, the case has taken the path of justice and the 74-year-old priest has already been banned from approaching his wife. However, according to the same information, he exercises his duty and continues his duty even though the case is known in the local community of Chania.
The 74-year-old is alleged to have abused his wife for 50 years, who she claims has endured his violent nature, jealousy, rape, physical violence, threats and verbal abuse since the age of 14.
The woman had a torture diary
The children were also victims of this situation, but two months ago when their mother had to be hospitalized in a serious condition, they understood exactly what she was doing when they discovered a diary of hers.
In it, the 64-year-old described everything she experienced, even the incidents of abuse, with frequent beatings and rapes. She then broke her silence and asked her children to take legal action to protect her.
Also, remember that at the end of July, before this was discovered, the daughter had sued her for threatening the family and insulting her dignity, through an insulting phone call she had received from her father.
The case is now in the hands of the competent bodies that are investigating and it is expected to be referred to the relevant bodies.
