Regarding the conflict between two brothers in the village of Zharrës, Fier, over the ownership of a plot of land, the Patos Municipality admits that it was unable to conduct complete measurements due to the refusal of one party.
In a statement for the show "Tak Fak", the director of Economic Development in the Patos Municipality, Çajup Refataj, and the head of the agriculture sector, Donald Xhafa, stated that during the verifications carried out on the Hajet Braçe plot, a shortage of about 400 square meters of land was found.
However, Hajet Braçe himself disputes this result, claiming that the missing area is about 1 dynym.
Regarding the Union's plot, municipality employees said they were unable to conduct measurements, as he did not allow entry to the private property.
They added that no minutes have been drawn up for the measurements taken, as the land has not yet been updated and there is an overlap with Albpetrol's properties, a claim that is also disputed by Hajeti.
According to municipality representatives, new measurements can only be carried out during the land update process and if Bashkim agrees to allow access to its plot.
Otherwise, they suggested pursuing legal avenues, through reporting to the police or initiating legal proceedings.
After leaving the municipality, we tried again to communicate with Mr. Bashkim, but he refused to speak, closing the door and declaring: "I have nothing more to talk to you about. I have filed a lawsuit against my brother."
