French Health Minister Stéphanie Rist has made another reaction regarding hantavirus, a situation that has caused many concerns, as citizens fear the risk of another pandemic.
At a meeting held before the French National Assembly, Rist stressed that in the event of an epidemic, the country has a stock of masks for three months.
The French minister also stated that at this stage there is no reason to make the use of masks mandatory in public spaces, nor for French citizens to limit their travel and movements in general.
Regarding the issue of people who have come into contact, the French minister stated that they must remain in isolation for 42 days, noting, however, that this decision will be reviewed every two weeks.
