MP Erion Braçe has left the premises of the GJKKO. Braçe was at the GJKKO for a court case related to the defamation charge.

In a communication to the media, Braçe emphasized that the criminal fact has been verified and it is up to the Prosecution whether to initiate criminal proceedings or not, while adding that in the entire history of alienation of properties in favor of private individuals, someone must be made an example.

"No appeal, I believe we are facing a very concrete criminal fact. I thought that the 2022 law and the decision of the Council of Ministers that determines that the land from the river line to the embankment is state-owned were enough. The gentlemen in the session that went insisted, I have filed with the court today, the laws, along with the respective decisions of the Council of Ministers that determine that the land from the river line to the embankment is river land, state land and can neither be alienated nor prescribed," he said.

The socialist MP has been involved for months in a legal process with businessman Anduel Çekrezi, following public statements and posts on social networks regarding a property conflict in the Imshtë area, in Lushnje.
