The Central Election Commission decided to postpone the decision on Kristian Shkreli, the mayor of Vau i Dejës. The reason for the postponement was the request of the DP representative to find additional information.
We recall that in April 2023, 15 PD MPs requested the verification of the SP candidate in Vaun e Dejas, Kristian Shkreli. The latter shows that in 2021, when he was a candidate for deputy under the SP logo, but did not declare his deportation from Italy in 2007, in the decriminalization form.
Shkreli, who was declared the winner in the local elections with 55.78% of the votes, had declared the expulsion, but without giving the reasons for the expulsion, hiding the fact that he was expelled for committing a criminal offense.
