The goal against Bournemouth once again sparked hopes that Armando Broja was finally back. That goal and the point that the red and black “bomber” gave Burnley completely changed his status, with coach Scott Parker starting to trust him with a starting jersey. Unfortunately, Broja did not properly take advantage of this golden opportunity that was given to him, gradually losing status and minutes.

The lowest point came in the last Premier League match, against Crystal Palace, with coach Parker not even fielding him. At first, the sports community thought it was a concern, a physical problem, but coach Scott Parker thought to dismiss this possibility.

In the press conference, the Burnley coach explained that this was simply a technical decision on his part: "He had a little problem, but that was my decision. At this moment, I can only invite a certain number of players and that was the way we did it.", said Parker. This statement from the Burnley coach clearly shows the difficult moment Broja is going through.
