Tirana police have continued operations against the distribution of narcotics, cracking down on another case of cocaine sales in the capital.
As part of the operation codenamed "Destination", specialists from the Narcotics Investigation Section arrested a 38-year-old man in the Mëzez area.
Citizen AK, 38 years old, resident of Tirana, was arrested. During a search of the Audi vehicle he was driving, the police found a bag containing approximately 100 grams of suspected cocaine, which was suspected to have been prepared for sale.
The narcotics and the vehicle were seized as material evidence.

About 100 grams of suspected narcotic substance Cocaine and an “Audi” type vehicle were seized. As a result of the rapid administration of information obtained from operational work, following the actions of the Tirana Police, to capture citizens who sell narcotic substances in large quantities and doses, in high-traffic areas and in other areas of the capital, specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section finalized the operation codenamed “Destination”.
During the operation, citizen AK, 38 years old, resident of Tirana, was arrested in flagrante delicto. From the checks in the “Audi” type vehicle that this citizen was driving in the village of Mëzez, a bag with about 100 grams of suspected narcotic substance Cocaine, ready for sale, was found. The narcotic substance was seized as material evidence, along with the vehicle in which it was found. The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
