Unexpectedly, for the first time in his career, Asllani left Italy to continue his career in Turkey, with the Besiktas team, but unfortunately his adventure with the "eagles" did not start well, with the red and black midfielder being punished with a red card in his debut after only 6 minutes of play.

Despite this fact, Besiktas are happy with this approach, and the club president even left open the possibility of buying his card at the end of this season. Recently, in an interview for "Beinsportstr", Asllani showed some of the behind-the-scenes of this transfer, where he revealed that it was not Hakan Calhanoglu who made the "go" for his move to Turkey.:

"I didn't have the chance to talk to Hakan Calhanoglu before I came here. I discussed with Ernest Muçi and Milot Rashica, they told me very good things about Besiktas," Asllani expressed himself, among other things.

The red and black midfielder was transferred to Besiktas on loan, but the option to buy the player at the end of this season is also on the table.
