The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has reacted with irony to SPAK's decision to extend the investigation period against former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, raising questions about the duration of the process.

Asked whether the investigation would be more complete if SPAK requested the lifting of Balluk's immunity from the Assembly, Berisha chose to respond with an ironic statement.

He said that he had received information from a "digital citizen", according to which the construction of a "mini-maternity" had begun on the SPAK premises, linking it to the duration of the investigations.

"I don't know how true it is, but the digital citizen informs me that they have started building a mini-maternity in SPAK. When I go the last time, I will inspect and verify if it is true, then I will answer your question," Berisha said.
