They returned to their homeland for vacation, but it was their last trip to another world. The Gushi family from Patos with four members died in a serious accident that occurred this morning on the Fier-Vlora road, near the village of Panaja, father Eduarti, 44 years old, wife Silvana, 33 years old, and two daughters Anastasia and Eva, 14 and 9 years old.

Journalist Ervis Kuçi has been to the family's long-abandoned apartment in Dukas Çoban in Patos. He said that the Gushi family had been living in Greece for 20 years, where Eduart's parents and other family members are currently, and that no one lived there for most of the year.

The family was going to Vlora, where Silvana's family was staying, to spend a few days of vacation in the coastal city. Three people traveling in the Audi were also injured in the accident.

A relative of Eduart told reporters that they had not been there for about 2 years, apparently due to the pandemic.
