I do not understand on what criteria the analysis of the election results in Hungary and the comparison with the elections in our country are based. And this is not happening only by people with basic political knowledge or “fans” of political developments, but also by people who are graduates and know well how to take case studies, how the methodology of analysis and conclusions is established. We do not expect any scientific article from them, but at least we expect a breakdown of the characteristics of each country and each democracy.

Hungary is a functioning democracy. And the fact that Orbán was defeated by a right-wing party, while the left was shattered and almost disappeared, means that Orbán won the elections and did not manipulate them. Meanwhile, in Albania there are not only elections, but manipulation and massive buying, which have been proven and are proven every time people emerge from nowhere, without any content, who receive more votes than the prime minister himself or his ministers.

Hungary is a conservative country, even nostalgic for the old royal and imperial tradition, under the spirit of a traditional Christianity, at the center of the two main currents, Protestantism and Orthodoxy, which stand strong and preserve their values and history. In contrast to our country, where the institutions of faith, knowledge, tradition and history have been shattered. Where theologians serve as makeup for this republic, which does not have values at its center, but opportunism and profit. Where theologians are ready to modify even their own doctrine just for petty benefits. And when neither they, nor the intellectuals, know how to raise their voices.

In Hungary, they fought for causes that directly concern the country's well-being, its vision and future. With the approach to the war in Ukraine, in the Middle East, to compromised leaders in the East or the West. And they voted against a leader who was becoming increasingly untrustworthy and who scared his citizens that he might involve them in conflicts that did not concern them.

Unlike our country, where no one is throwing water on the fire because the country has a prime minister who is making all kinds of adventures with strong national danger, such as those with Open Balkan, unprecedented statements at the UN, conflict with the government of half the nation, Kosovo, resolutions and careless approaches towards Iran and Israel, the agreement on migrant camps, excess in various initiatives with Erdogan to disrupt internal and external factors, as well as the donation of the port without consensus with NATO organizations.

In Hungary, Orbán lost for several main reasons. The Péter Magyar factor, the former collaborator who turned into the main challenger, took votes from within the political wing, which was also shown by the record turnout, which proves that many other conservatives with patriotic attitudes who had not previously voted have joined. Unlike our country, where in addition to refusing to vote, turnout is low, but also hundreds of thousands of Albanians flee every year.

A very important point was also the pedophilia scandal. The pardon of an accomplice of a pedophile destroyed the morale of his “pro-family” cause. This was proven by the biggest protests in decades, just two years ago. While all kinds of scandals can break out in our country and in every cafe there is talk about scandalous videos and relationships beyond all logic, but no one reacts. Even when they come out with their voice and image, the government still wins the elections, like in Kukës after the scandal with Gjici.

Meanwhile, in Hungary, Orbán was voted against for concrete reasons such as the economy in crisis, record inflation and the increase in the cost of living that burdened citizens; isolation from the EU, which led to the blocking of funds; the relationship with Russia, which became a political burden after the energy crises with Ukraine; and the 14-year consumption of power, which brought fatigue and accusations of corruption among his circle.

Everything in Albania seems to make no sense for analysis, because everything is calculated and manipulated, either within the system, or in the mind and hand of the voter.
