DP leader Sali Berisha has accused the majority of stealing IPARD funds by not distributing them to farmers.
He responded to SP MP Ardit Bido, who stated that the opposition talks about subsidies for farmers, but when meetings are organized with the EU, they demand the blocking of negotiations.
Meanwhile, Berisha has harshened his language, calling Bidon a parrot, while recalling the theft of IPARD funds.
"Fraud has become their law. We have invested 3 billion euros in rural areas. Olives from 4 million that came from the time of Skanderbeg to 11 million. You can never undo it. We cannot compare with EU countries, but Kosovo has allocated 200 million euros for agriculture this year, 4 times more than Albania. It gives 100-150 euros for fertilizer for a hectare of wheat, it gives for oil and seeds. We do not compare with Germany and France, but with Kosovo, which has half our budget. Why are you so miserable that you parrot a thief. Are you Albanians? What about the IPARD that you stole and excluded farmers from hundreds of millions of euros. Or did he steal it without whose permission nothing can be stolen and then took it to the office," he said
