The sister of Asim Gjoni, the 41-year-old who lost his life after being stabbed to death by his father, has revealed the 74-year-old's first words after taking his son's life.
In a story for "With an Open Heart", he revealed that his father said he had only two options: either he would kill him, or Asim would take his life.
"Either he would have killed me or I would have killed him. My eyes went dark, I had to do something. That's what my father said the moment we found my brother dead," she said.
Brunilda Gjoni, while describing the dynamics of the incident, said that it was the brother who initially grabbed her father by the throat and would not let go, then she went up to the second floor of the apartment to seek help from her other brother, but that when they arrived, the crime had already been committed.
