Ardian Çapja, sentenced to life imprisonment, was unable to attend his mother's funeral.
Çapja had requested permission to be present at the funeral ceremony, which was scheduled to take place at 14:00 PM, in Elbasan.
Sources indicate that the Prison Directorate has sent a request to the Police, asking if they would take over the escort and security of Çapja during his release from prison to attend the funeral.
However, according to preliminary data, the Police did not respond to the request, meaning that Çapja could not attend his mother's funeral ceremony.
