Chief Inspector General, Dashnor Sula during a meeting with the operators of the regional inspectorates of Vlora, as one of the cities that carries an important weight for the way the inspectorates function and operate. Sula, in a statement to the media, spoke about the creation of a special structure of the inspectorates, including the merger of IKMT and IMT into one. While adding that IKMT remains a wound for the coast, thus acknowledging the problem of unauthorized construction, including the case of the city of Saranda.
For Chief Inspector Sula, transparency and communication with citizens will undergo changes, giving them the opportunity to denounce and express complaints more easily through the portal and telephone line. Among other things, Sula says that there will be zero tolerance for any inspector who violates the law.
"In the course of the meetings that we are holding in all regions, to make it possible to discuss and address the issues of all regional inspectorates in Albania. Vlora is of strategic importance for tourism and has special importance. Each inspectorate will have the task of establishing a task force to serve not only tourists, but also locals.
Every inspector must be vigilant at all times to prevent any incident that may affect the image of Albania, especially for food, starting from supply and others. Every inspector must monitor 24 hours every wholesale, retail or restaurant entity on the coastline for a quality service and to protect the consumer from any unexpected event that may occur. Tolerance is zero. We have set up communication lines to give citizens the opportunity through a portal, in order to be not only the eye of an inspector, but also of citizens to inform. Next week, the 0800 green line will begin operating, precisely to have the opportunity for citizens to report problems. Regarding unauthorized construction, Vlora is a plague, as is the entire coast. The latest case of Saranda shows the strong will of the government," said Sula, among other things.
Meetings continue within the framework of training and discussions throughout the country, mainly for the smooth running of a tourist season without problems.
