The appointment of Diella as the first minister created with artificial intelligence became a sensation last fall. In the international media, it was treated as an innovation and a fight against corruption, and in the Albanian media, about the legal challenges of an "artificial" minister and the responsibilities that must be held in his name.
6 months after the appointment of Minister "Diella", a lawsuit by actress Anila Bisha, whose image and voice were used to give life to the minister, seeks to suspend the government's newest minister, which ironically does not even seem to require interpretation from the Constitutional Court.
In the document provided by News24 e BalkanWeb It is stated that it is requested: "Taking the measure of securing the claim, ordering the third party not to use the personal data (image and voice) of the applicant Anila Bisha, related to the creation of the avatar of the Minister for Artificial Intelligence, until the conclusion of the legal process."
The actress's contract only allowed for the use of the image for e-Albania services. When Diella of e-Albania became a Minister, Bisha was not only not consulted nor subjected to a new contract process as the image of Diella who had grown up in office. Despite the first perception of the use of the image and voice, the institutions have violated not only the copyright but practically, by patenting Diella, they have almost taken away the right of actress Anila Bisha to have the voice and image she has.
In the document securing the claim, at this stage, Bisha assesses that, as a result of the actions of the third party, it is being caused great, immediate and irreversible damage.
