The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime has requested the Special Court of First Instance to impose security measures against two citizens ML, (alias G.,) and EL.
In August 2023, Danish authorities registered criminal proceedings no. 0100-71282-00102-23 – “Operation Bacchus”.
The investigation involved a group of Albanian and foreign citizens who, within the framework of a structured criminal group, carried out the criminal activity of trafficking and distributing heroin-type narcotics in the Kingdom of Denmark.
Investigations have revealed that the trafficked narcotics were prepared for sale on the Danish market, mixed with other substances such as paracetamol and caffeine, in order to maximize profits.
This criminal activity, according to SPAK, extended from October 1, 2023 to January 23, 2024, in 7 episodes, during which members of the criminal group imported heroin into the Kingdom of Denmark through the border state of Sweden.
