DP leader Sali Berisha appeared at SPAK today. After leaving SPAK, Berisha held a media briefing where he accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of corruption.

Berisha also focused on the protest that has been taking place in Tirana for the past 15 days, stating that Albanians must participate en masse in this revolt.

"I invite Albanians to participate en masse, because in reality, Edi Rama, in the red circle, has no future and no hope. Let's follow him, let's give these young people some help," said Berisha, adding: "Edi Rama deserves to be tried for genocide, for the massive departures of Albanians."

Berisha expressed his conviction that Rama will leave, while emphasizing that he supports a technical government with free elections.

"Not that it is not partisan. I am partisan. And I never want those colors that the citizens have given to touch them. And every democrat there is without any symbol. Let's learn to respect them. Forget what he says about them being fascists. He is crazy. If I had not had these functions, I would have been there day and night. I tell Edi Rama, that movement has cut his ticket", said Berisha, among other things.

We recall that former Prime Minister Berisha faces charges of corruption, while his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezi, and businessman Fatmir Bektashi are accused of involvement in corruption and illegal money laundering activities.
