Through a post on social media, US President Donald Trump has reacted harshly to Iran for publishing the details of the agreement reached between Tehran and official Washington.
Trump declares that what has been published is "Fake News" and pathetic because it has nothing to do with the truth.
President Trump also condemned Iran's drone attack on Indian ships in Hormuz.
"The terms that Iran revealed are Fake News, they have nothing to do with the terms that were agreed to, in writing. What they said, including their weak and pathetic statement about making a deal, has nothing to do with the truth. Very dishonest people to deal with. With them, there is no such thing as making good faith deals. Strange! Also, their completely rejected drone attack last night on Indian ships leaving the Strait of Hormuz is completely unacceptable," Trump wrote.
According to reports from the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar, close to Hezbollah, the draft agreement provides for the complete cessation of Israeli military operations on Lebanese territory, as well as the withdrawal of Israeli forces from areas currently controlled in the south of the country.
Earlier, Iran's official news agency, IRNA, said that the future administration of the Strait of Hormuz would be resolved as "a regional issue through dialogue and joint decision-making between Tehran and Oman."
IRNA reported that Washington pledges not to increase its armed forces in the region and not to impose new sanctions during the negotiations.
