Iran claims to have achieved a "major victory" and forced the United States to accept the 10-point plan it had presented, according to a statement from the Supreme National Security Council.

As reported, within the framework of the agreement, the US has in principle agreed to the lifting of all primary and secondary sanctions against Tehran.

At the same time, according to the same announcement, Washington acknowledges Iran's nuclear enrichment program, as well as its continued control over the Strait of Hormuz.

The announcement speaks of an "undoubted, historic and overwhelming defeat" of the adversary, with Iran arguing that the outcome of the conflict justifies it.
