In normal times, leadership is a burden. In turbulent times, it is a test of character. In Albania, spectacle is the rule of power. Leadership has become a role and the state a scenography. You can change the color of the half-moon as much as you want. Today red, tomorrow blue and the day after tomorrow gray. This game with the mirror may please the eye of the camera, but it cannot change Albania. It cannot change education. It cannot change healthcare. It cannot change justice, administration, security, agriculture and the economy. These are not accessories that are replaced with seasons of political humor. They are the essence of the state.

State-building is neither a podium nor a television spot. It is a mechanism of responsibility. There, every decision leaves a mark on people's lives. Here, they have forgotten this weight. Therefore, democracy has entered its most dangerous phase. Illusions are being presented to us as institutions.

It is said that the well-being of the people is the supreme goal. But reality speaks in a lower and colder voice. Those who work with power build without permission, in broad daylight, right in the middle of Tirana, on the coast and in the mountains. Wherever the eye should see but decides not to see. This is not administrative weakness. This is the clearest indication that the administration and justice are bent towards power, not independent of it.

A country is not governed by direction. For a long time, Albanian politics has been kept alive by form without content. By symbols without substance. By decorations without merit.

The remnant of monism appears to us eternally as the "reformist leader". But he never explains why institutions collapse one after another? Why does the brain of the country continue to leave in silence? Meanwhile, there is talk of strengthening the lek as an achievement. While Albanian families make another, much simpler calculation. How much can they buy with the salary they receive? The exchange rate is an abstraction for those who neither export nor import. Purchasing power is the reality of every day. If salaries grow slower than prices, the Albanian is poorer.

Governance has become a spectacle. Aesthetics have taken the place of ethics. Media effect has replaced civic dialogue. Every critical voice is labeled as an enemy, coming from the "scum of the past." Shadows follow behind. Meanwhile, the voice comes from the younger generations who have no party affiliation. They only have common concerns. The truth, unlike the stage, is not controlled by lighting.

In a healthy republic, leadership speaks little and listens a lot. But the remnants of monism speak constantly. They occupy the space of others. They do everything themselves. Institutions fade. Form has replaced content. No one knows where responsibility lies anymore, but everyone knows who is responsible. Today, everything revolves around a figure who has annihilated everything else.

A society that does not admit mistakes never improves. It simply produces alibis, generation after generation. There is no vision without responsibility. A leader is not great because he speaks beautifully, but because he responds to reality. Success is measured by the impact he leaves on those who do not have a voice. Governance is a moral responsibility, not a technical one to maintain power.

The true leader does not sell illusions. He is not afraid of the mirror, nor of criticism, nor of silence. For 61 days, Albanians have taken to the streets on their own. For the first time, they are coming out for Albania, not for the party. Meanwhile, the government responds with contempt instead of dialogue. The regime has lost control over reality.

People are protesting today not for a single, isolated issue, but for every area of their lives. Education that does not prepare them. Health care that does not heal them. Justice that does not protect them. Administration that does not function. Economy that does not support them. This government has produced only hopelessness. Only mass abandonment of the country.

The Flamingo Revolution is not the voice of a group. It is the echo of a people who have understood that the color of their skin has nothing to do with the color of their future. The time has come to silence the voice of the actor, and to listen to the voice of the national conscience. Only that voice can rebuild the republic of the Albanians for the Albanians.
