The grandfather of the baby from Devolli who passed away in Tirana has spoken out amid the pain of the loss of his grandson, appealing for help to bring the child's body to the family for burial.
He says that the baby was the first grandchild in the family and the loss was very difficult for everyone. "He was the first grandchild for our family. We are only asking for help to bring the child here to bury him, because we are unable to take him ourselves," says the grandfather.
According to him, the baby was mainly cared for by his son, the child's father. "My son was taking care of the child," he adds. The family from Devolli says they are in great economic difficulties and are seeking help from institutions to transport the baby's body from Tirana to their hometown for the funeral ceremony.
