Former Deputy Director of the National Agency for the Information Society, Hava Delibashi, arrived this Tuesday at the Special Court, to which she has addressed the request for a security measure.
Delibashi is being investigated for the criminal offenses of "violation of equality in tenders committed in the form of collaboration, that of a structured criminal group, structured criminal group, and the commission of criminal offenses by a criminal group."
She has been held under "house arrest" for more than 3 months, but now claims that this measure should be relaxed, due to the circumstances she is in, as she is pregnant.
Tuesday's session was postponed in order for special prosecutors, Bledar Maksuti and Altin Dumani, who are investigating the AKSHI scandal, to present 2 months of information regarding the investigative actions carried out to date, and then for the court to rule on Delibashi's request.
SPAK claims that within AKSHI there was a structured criminal group led by businessmen Ergys Agasi and Ermal Beqiri, who ordered the kidnapping of rivals, such as Gerond Mece, and forced them to withdraw from tenders. The two businessmen are on the run, while the former director of AKSHI, Mirlinda Karçanaj and Delibashi, is under house arrest. For 3 other businessmen and a police officer, the special court has imposed travel bans or suspensions from office.
