An Albanian immigrant living in Italy has called for the continuation of protests, urging citizens to join the anti-government rallies. From the protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, he announced that another demonstration will be held in Genoa on Sunday.
He said he had planned to spend the holidays with his family, but decided to interrupt them to join the protest in Tirana.
"We want to do what we are doing. I wanted to take a vacation, but I won't. There are many Albanians who want to come here to the square, but for them it is a luxury. They don't have the money to come, even from Vlora. But we have to make sacrifices.
"I'm carrying a bag, because I have the last bullet here, figuratively, because we're not talking about real bullets. People are in trouble, they're poor. We got permission to demonstrate on Sunday in Genoa. We have to be non-partisan, because the parties have made us think so. Enough! Join us here in the square," he said.
