The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has made strong accusations against the government regarding the initiative to centralize, according to him, the system of medicines and health services.

During a conversation with citizens, Berisha stated that after the creation of a state-owned enterprise for the trade of medicines, it will, according to him, be passed on to a businessman connected to Prime Minister Edi Rama.

"Another Yfet has been prepared. It has been prepared that after the state enterprise is created, it will be privatized and passed on to another Yfet," said Berisha.

He claimed that the ultimate goal is for Rama and the businessman, whom he described as "the other Yfeti," to share hundreds of millions of euros from the pharmaceutical trade.

Berisha also compared the initiative to the case of the KAYO company and accused the government of attempting to monopolize the pharmaceutical market.

"The KAYO enterprise is an extremely problematic enterprise, of international arms trafficking, of affairs, but which the Democratic Party will do everything on the national and international level, for the sake of the security of this country, and of our partners, to unravel as it is, to present its truth as it is," he said.
