For the first time, the winning song in the 9-14 year old category of the National Children's Song Festival in Shkodra will represent Albania in the prestigious European competition "Eurosong Junior Contest".

This historic step was made possible thanks to the agreement signed between the Municipality of Shkodra and RTSH - Albanian Radio Television.

For the Mayor of Shkodra, Benet Beci, this is very important news that gives even more weight and importance to the traditional Shkodra festival, which this year marks its 63rd edition.

The stage of this festival remains one of the unique platforms for promoting musical creativity for children and discovering new talents from all over Albania and beyond, while today this festival gains a new international dimension.

This year, Shkodra is entering the European scene not only with children's music, but also with the representation of "Shkodra Elektronike" in the Eurosong for adults, representing Shkodra and Albania in this international event. Shkodran art is today the ambassador of Albania in Europe.
