A photo of Kristjan Sterjo, the suspected perpetrator of the murder of 20-year-old Johan Zuko in Korça, has been released. Sterjo remains wanted, while the Police have intensified their efforts to locate and capture him.
It is learned that a few minutes ago, numerous police forces, together with RENEA officers, went to the suspected perpetrator's apartment as part of the operation to capture him.
However, the searches in the apartment did not result in finding Sterjo, as he was not there at the time of the intervention. Police and RENEA forces continue to search the area, while checkpoints have been set up at several points to prevent the suspected perpetrator from leaving.
According to the investigation, Sterjo and the victim were friends and grew up together. There was a conflict between them, which later escalated into the murder of the 20-year-old.
Meanwhile, the investigation team continues to work on fully documenting the incident. Security camera footage from the area where the crime occurred and along the roads that the perpetrator is suspected of following after the murder is also being seized and analyzed. The operation to capture Kristjan Sterjo continues.
