Coordinator of the economic program in the Democratic Party and vice-chairman of the opposition advisors group in the Tirana Municipal Council, Dorjan Teliti, invited to the News24 news studio, emphasized the protests as a form of reaction to raise awareness of the government to solve the problems that concern citizens.
Teliti referred to the situation with fuel prices, which, after the reduction of the urban transport fleet by the urban transport association, led the government to promise to review the fuel tax.
"Albanians received the message today that if they don't stand up, the government won't react."
"I call on every Albanian to join our protest on April 17, because today it was proven that protest is the only way to raise awareness and bring to the table a government that is irresponsible and does not think about solving a sector's problems, except when imposed on it, as happened with urban transport," said Teliti.
Dorian Teliti: the moment urban transport operators rose up in protest, the majority reacted at that moment.
The only way to bring down the government is to promise a tax review.
