Clevis Balliu, which is located in MUNICH within the framework of Munich Security Conference, held a meeting with Tobias Gotthardt, Secretary of State in Bavarian Ministry of Economics, Regional Development and Energy, in Bavaria.
In a post on Facebook, Balliu announced that during the meeting, Albania and the challenges the country faces were discussed. According to him, Gotthardt knew Albania well and expressed his willingness to support the country on the path of economic development and strengthening institutional cooperation.
In his reaction, Balliu emphasized that Albania has many friends around the world, but underlined that the support of allies will be even stronger if institutions are cleansed of corruption and full standards of the rule of law are guaranteed.
He added that only through strong, transparent institutions untainted by illicit interests can a sustainable partnership and a secure future for Albanian citizens be built.
