Klodiana Spahiu was sworn in this Friday as Minister of Health and Social Welfare.
The Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Evis Kushi, was also present at the ceremony held today at the Presidency.
The ceremony began with the playing of the national anthem, followed by the reading of the appointment decree and the oath formula. Afterwards, Minister Spahiu swore an oath on the Constitution before the President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj.
The Head of State handed over the appointment decree to the Minister of Health and Social Protection, wishing her success in her new position.
Spahiu replaces former Minister Evis Sala, who resigned from her position.
The Assembly approved on Monday with 79 votes in favor the dismissal of Evis Sala as Minister of Health and Social Welfare. With the same 79 votes, the Assembly approved the appointment of Klodiana Spahiu as Minister of Health and Social Welfare.
