New details have been revealed regarding the operation conducted by SPAK in collaboration with French authorities in Tirana, to crack down on Call Centers.
Journalist Klodiana Lala reports that the owners of the Call Center have been declared wanted, while during the search, many computers, phones, documents with operator data, as well as data regarding foreign victims who have fallen prey to fraud, were found.
As for the police officer who was escorted, it is learned that he was an employee at Police Station No. 1 in the capital.
The officer's phone was confiscated and a search was conducted by the AMP in his apartment.
SPAK operation
A police action was conducted in the area near "Sami Frashëri" in Tirana, as part of an operation to crack down on fraudulent call centers.

At least one police officer was escorted during the action, and it is not ruled out that the number of people involved will increase as the investigation continues.
It is also learned that checks are being carried out in places where illegal activity is suspected to have taken place, as well as in the homes of the suspects, with the aim of detaining them and securing other evidence. According to the source, the operation is ongoing and there are no preliminary conclusions yet, as the new evidence that is being seized is also being evaluated.
A week ago, based on an investigation conducted by the Tirana Prosecutor's Office in cooperation with Austrian authorities, a vast computer fraud scheme centered in Tirana was uncovered, from which European, Canadian and American citizens were extorted.
Likewise, SPAK's investigations, in cooperation with the justice authorities of several European countries, have uncovered numerous call-center fraud schemes over the years that have caused tens of millions of euros in damage to citizens.
