Speaking at a conference in Doha, Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal declared that the terrorist organization will not give up its weapons nor accept foreign intervention in Gaza, rejecting demands from the United States and Israel.
"The criminalization of the resistance, its weapons and those who carry it out is something we cannot accept," Mashaal said.
He called on the Peace Board to adopt a "balanced approach" that allows for the reconstruction of Gaza and the flow of aid, warning that Hamas "will not accept foreign rule."
