The President of the Kosovo Football Federation, Agim Ademi, and the National Team's selector, Franco Foda, have given their statements after the draw for the new edition of the Nations League, where Kosovo is part of Group 3 of League B, along with Austria, Israel and Ireland.

President Ademi assessed that the draw is not easy, but emphasized that Kosovo now belongs to another level and that there are no longer any weak opponents at this level of the competition.

"Today's draw is not easy. However, we are already in League B and there are no weak opponents. But we, as Kosovo, are already at another level and considering this fact, I think we can make it in this group, even though we will face teams that we do not know much, since we have not played with Austria and Ireland so far. Meanwhile, we have played against Israel and we know them. However, I believe that since Foda has worked in the Austrian national team, he knows their character and we will somehow make it. For us, it is important that our team is in good shape and that we give our best", said Ademi.

Meanwhile, coach Franco Foda emphasized that Austria is the favorite of the group, but Kosovo will aim to compete for second place and maintain its status in League B.

"It is clear that Austria is the favorite, but it is an interesting group. Our goal is to do everything to reach second place, because it is a strong group. At least we have to maintain our level and not fall into League C," declared Foda.

He also spoke about his return to Austria, emphasizing the excitement of facing his former team and the hope for great support from Albanian fans.

"As for returning to Austria, I'm happy to play against them, to see my former players and I hope we have a lot of support in Austria. But my focus is still on March," concluded the Kosovo coach.

Kosovo will begin its adventure in League B with the aim of continuing with positive games and results and proving that it belongs at this level of competition in the UEFA Nations League.
