DP MP Enno Bozdo focused on the high fuel prices. In his speech, he said that the government pockets tens of millions of euros and does not take any relief measures for Albanians.

Bozdo also said that fuel taxes should be reduced or eliminated. The law, he said, requires 90 days of fuel reserves.

He further emphasized that the Transparency Board only monitors price increases, accusing the Board of being a political pawn of the Prime Minister.

"At this point, we pray that the crisis is not further emphasized and that there is no obligation to release oil reserves that should actually be 90 days, but in fact today are zero. But today we are naked and with our hands up in the face of an energy crisis when all other countries in the region and the EU have these mechanisms. The circulation tax, Albanians pay twice, or otherwise the carbon tax, Albanians face very expensive prices. It makes no sense for Kosovo and the Republic of Macedonia to show oil 30-40% cheaper than Albania. Another mechanism that the draft law proposes is the mobile excise model," he said, among other things.
