Due to lack of quorum, the extraordinary plenary session failed on Thursday with the only item on the agenda, the approval of constitutional amendments that would enable the election of the president by direct vote by the people.
Because any constitutional amendment requires the approval of two-thirds of all members of the Assembly, including two-thirds of all members from the communities, none of the 9 members of the Serbian List were present at the session.
Meanwhile, the next session will be held at 22:00 PM.
