The State Police and British partners confirm the further strengthening of strategic cooperation, turning the task force against illegal migration into a successful inter-institutional model, with concrete and measurable results.
During the meeting between the Director General of the State Police, Skënder Hita, and the Deputy Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Albania, Julia Sutherland, it was emphasized that the cooperation so far has brought about a drastic reduction in cases of illegal immigration to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, as well as significant blows to organized crime.

Director Hita praised the close and barrier-free partnership with British law enforcement agencies.
"This is a consolidated partnership, with concrete results. The State Police remains a reliable and active partner in guaranteeing security, both at home and abroad," he said.
Cooperation between the two countries is also advancing in other areas, such as the Scientific Police, information technology, and border control, cracking down on attempts at arms trafficking, money laundering, and illegal capital inflows.
For her part, Deputy Ambassador Sutherland emphasized that cooperation between the two countries will continue to expand, considering it a concrete example of the exchange of expertise and mutual trust.
