Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković congratulated Edi Rama on his victory in the May 11 parliamentary elections.

In a post on social media, Plenković expressed his appreciation for the result and enthusiasm for the upcoming meeting in Tirana.

“Congratulations to Prime Minister Edi Rama on his election victory! I look forward to further strengthening bilateral relations and continuing cooperation within NATO and other international forums,” Plenković wrote. “I look forward to participating in the European Political Community summit in Tirana on Friday.”

The head of the Croatian government is one of the European leaders who will participate in the summit of the European Political Community, which is being held for the first time in Tirana.

A little earlier, Prime Minister Rama also received congratulations from the Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, who emphasized the will to deepen strategic cooperation between Albania and Italy in common European challenges.
