Invited to the "Studio24" show, Kolindo Vjerdha, an activist from the "Citizen Stability" organization, pointed out the instability of Prime Minister Edi Rama's statements and recalled that past experiences with official dialogue have proven unsuccessful due to broken promises.
According to Vjerdha, the rapid fluctuations in the prime minister's public communication show a lack of seriousness in the face of one of the largest citizen protests in recent years.
"The Prime Minister has changed his position three times in the last 24 hours. If we then remember the other organized protests, what we have seen is that when it was negotiated, several points were set, but today none of them have been implemented," the "Civic Resistance" activist underlined.
Faced with the majority's insistence on bringing the parties together at a table, Vjerdha argued that the cause does not need closed negotiations, as the voice of citizens and scientific arguments have already been stated publicly and repeatedly.
“The dialogue is there in the square, the messages have been transmitted, the demands are clear, they have been articulated by experts, activists, etc. They have been there for a very long time,” he concluded, implying that the ball is now in the government's court, which must simply listen to and implement the citizens' demands for the protection of Zvërnec.
