The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has once again called on Albanian citizens to participate in the March 22 protest. He said that it will be a peaceful uprising. Berisha, among other things, said that the Democratic Party will not be able to withdraw from the primaries process.

"A powerful uprising on March 22nd that should give the deserved response to Rama's illegal acts, who is trying to protect himself and his family at all costs. I want to congratulate all the new elected leaders in the DP branches from Shkodra to Vlora, Berat, Saranda, Himara and other cities. The electoral process was held in the Primaries. This shows that we should not give up on the Primaries and not replace the will for decision-making of our members with anything," he said.
