Kruja Police have finalized the operation codenamed "Baruni", cracking down on a case of narcotic plant cultivation.
During checks in the territory, in the place called "Skahide", in the Barun neighborhood, the services of the Krujë Police Commissariat discovered a plot cultivated with suspected narcotic plants, cannabis sativa.
During the intervention, the police caught him red-handed in the plot and arrested EP, 62 years old, a resident of Kruja, suspected of being the person who had cultivated the narcotic plants.
The narcotic plants were destroyed by burning, while controls in the territory of Kruja continue to identify and crack down on other cases of cannabis cultivation. The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
