The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has said that the lack of sanctions against Serbia has emboldened him by making mass arrests of Kosovar citizens.
Kurti, at the press conference after the government meeting, accused Serbia of being a mafia state, while emphasizing that the chief mafia is the president, Aleksandar Vucic.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, said that around 1500 Kosovar citizens were detained and abused by the Serbian authorities yesterday.
Svečla said that this action by Serbia poses a threat to security in the region and is a dangerous precedent.
