Today's protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office building continued with quite striking speeches from young activists. One of them chose to use subtle irony and rhetorical questions to take a harsh assessment of Edi Rama's 13-year rule.
With strong tones and applause from hundreds of citizens present on the boulevard, the young man listed some of the hottest topics related to corruption, infrastructure, youth exodus, and recent affairs at SPAK.
During his speech, the protester raised strong questions about the government's priorities, contrasting failures on the ground with accusations of corruption and money laundering.
"After 13 years of governance, what are you proud of? The roads you have left to the streets or the files you have filed in SPAK? Who has grown more, the welfare of the people or Belinda's account? Have you cleaned more irrigation canals or dirty money?" he expressed with sharp irony.
At the end of his speech, the young man focused on two of the greatest wounds of these years: the demolition of housing for various projects without fair compensation and the continuous recycling of old political figures within the majority.
"Have you built more hope for the people or have you destroyed their homes? Who has recycled more trash, the Sharra landfill or your list of deputies?" the young man concluded his speech, causing numerous cheers among the protesters.
