The head of the Democratic Party branch in Kruja, Aulon Kalaja, invited to the show "This Week" IN News24, has revealed the concrete proposals that he has officially submitted to the party, just one day before the meeting of the DP National Assembly.

Kalaja has called for a strong ideological turn for the blue headquarters, proposing the alignment of the DP with right-wing sovereigntist forces in Europe and the US, and has called for a decisive "de-Sorosization" process within the party's leadership structures.

In his speech, the leader of the DP Krujë argued that the Democratic Party should clearly position itself as a conservative force, severing relations with the European People's Party (EPP) to become part of the new alliance of the European right.

"I made a proposal for the DP to move more towards the right and conservatism. I made a proposal for the DP to leave the EPP and go to the 'Patriots for Europe', to show that we are with the line of US President Donald Trump and not with the rest. I also proposed the de-Sorosization of the DP, which is necessary in the party. This determines that people who have benefited from Soros should not be at least in the DP's dome. I have officially submitted these issues," declared Kalaja.

Focusing on the statutory changes expected to be discussed in the National Assembly, Kalaja openly spoke out against the increase in the mandatory percentage for women's representation in leadership forums, demanding that the focus be on the values ​​of the individual and not on numbers. Meanwhile, he praised the movements to bring the diaspora and youth closer together.

"I am against increasing the quota for women from 30% to 40%. Because tomorrow it could go from 40% to 50% and more, and then there would be no more men there. I like the diaspora and its approach as proposals, as well as the approach of young people. But I would be more for the quality than the quantity of people we will have," Kalaja underlined.
