The tropical storm that was forecast to hit the country today also hit the capital a few moments ago.
Strong winds have affected Tirana, while outdoor objects such as umbrellas, chairs, and even trees have fallen.
According to the weather forecast, occasional showers accompanied by strong wind storms will be expected. The afternoon hours will continue with clouds and heavy rains, risking flooding in some regions of the western lowlands.
Meanwhile, moderate rains are expected in the eastern mountainous areas. During the night there will be a significant decrease in precipitation intensity.
